Mechanical discipline
The Mechanical discipline has introduced some new features as well as enhanced the existing ones. The below sections details the changes in the Mechanical discipline.
- Duct Sizing utility — now integrated with Analyze Route capability besides its core functionality of automated sizing of ducts.
- Insulate Route utility — promoted to apply symbology settings to selected paths of the route using the insulation-lining template.
- Duct Sizer utility simplified with split pane for Report details in the dialog.
- The Assign System ID utility to quickly assign and manager numbering scheme to selected path of a route system over former Analyze System workflow.
- The ribbon based fitting categories grouped on the main taskbar quickly allow selecting the category and placing desired catalog item. The unified place component interface allows managing placement settings on the fly while placing mechanical component.
- The Node Catalog Override utility overrides the default autofittings preference node catalog to the node in single line mode.
